Sally Epply grew up in a small town,  Old Saybrook, Connecticut, where her family was surrounded by watching both of her parents working in their studio painting beautiful paintings.
Her Mother Patty Epply was also a very talented artist painting portraits in Pastel. Sally’s  parents were both Artists.
Her Father, Roger Epply was a versatile Old Saybrook, Connecticut watercolorist who painted New England in all seasons. Her father taught her some Water Color techniques that she remembers fondly.
While Sally was living in up in Belfast, Maine she studied Watercolor with her Art teacher "Susan Toby White." She also enjoys painting in Watercolor, Acrylics, and Oil Paintings. Sally's style is an Intuitive Artist using lots of bold, dramatic colors painting to music.  She has lived in Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, Delaware, Virginia and now Florida. Sally in childhood always had lots of animals: parakeets, turtles, parrots, two cats, two old English sheepdogs, a Scotty, mice, hamsters, fish, guinea pigs and one skunk. Her poor mother and father never knew what Sally was going to bring home next. Fortunately, her parents also loved animals.
With a house located on the edge of a marsh, there was lots of wildlife to see and to learn about. Occasionally a red fox would jump the creek; swans and ducks were fun to watch; muskrats playing and swimming together were a delight to see. Nature was always fascinating!  Wanting her children Nick and Liz to develop the same love for animals as she had, Sally surrounded them with animals — dogs, a cat, hamsters, and birds.
Sally has worked Painting Oil Painting, selling advertising, Real Estate, photography, and marketing for various publications, newspapers, and websites. Sally just had an Exhibit in Mount Dora, FL displaying her paintings for three months. Also had an Exhibit in Lake Marry.
Sally, her husband, Larry, and dog, Angus–a pug, now reside in Orlando Florida.

Best Wishes!

Sally Epply
